Wild Edible Greens Workshop in Kefalonia

The first workshop of the “Wild Edible Greens of Kefalonia and Ithaca” project supported by the Ionian Environment Foundation will take place in Mantzavinata, Lixouri, on Sunday, March 8th (10:30–15:30).

Organized by Cephalonia Botanica in collaboration with the “Kounopetra Cultural Association”, the workshop—led by agronomist Evi Matiatou—will introduce participants to the collection and cooking of wild edible greens, from field identification to the table.

Cephalonia Botanica is an organisation dedicated to environmental education, biodiversity protection, and the preservation of local ecological knowledge. Through field-based learning and community engagement, Cephalonia Botanica promotes sustainable relationships between people, food, and the natural environment.
